 Open Position    Position Description
Roundtable Team Members Roundtable is a monthly meeting of Scouting volunteers.  At Roundtable leaders share knowledge and help each other solve problems.  It's also a time for monthly fellowship amongst volunteers.

Durham is in need of a small team of volunteers who are willing to facilitate Roundtable.  Principally this means organizing the meeting and inviting Scouters to come and share their experience with the group.  If you would be interested in helping here, please contact District Commissioner Jeff Mixon for more information.
Unit CommissionersUnit Commissioners are friends, representatives, doctors, teachers, and counselors to BSA units.  They are key liaisons between the District and our Scouts and Scouters in the field.  

Many Durham Scouting units currently do not have Unit Commissioners.  
If you are an experienced Scouter that would like help ensure the success of Durham Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, Venture Crews, and Sea Scout Ships, please contact District Commissioner Jeff Mixon for more information.
Activity Committee MembersActivity Committee Members organize events for Scouts across Durham.  Great examples are the Mawat District Pinewood Derby, Cub Scout Twilight Camp, and service projects that impact our community.  The stronger the activities team, the more activities we can provides for Scouts in our community.

Membership Committee MembersDurham is a growing, vibrant community.  The Mawat Membership team works to help the Scouting units in Durham to grow their membership.  Durham is a wonderful place to be a Scout.  Please help us to bring the Scouting to more youth.
